Web View Editing

Locating the web pages and the content to be edited within the web page is made easy in the back end Administration Control panel by choosing "Preview" mode.

While in Preview mode the website is displayed as a website - with the inclusion of the content editing toolbars. Simply navigate to the pages desired using the website's navigation and choose to add/edit/delete content with the toolbar located in each content area. There is also the option to toggle back to the tree view of the website structure. For less technical users, the Preview mode is much more user friendly than the tree view mode.

Features:

• Navigation of the website back end for editing is made much easier for some users as they are viewing a working website and don't need to try to visualise the front end display of the website based on a tree view structure.
   
• The content areas that are included in the page are visible with the inclusion of the editing toolbar, so that users that were not involved in template development can easily identify available content areas, and using the toolbar quickly choose a content type to add.
   
• Existing individual pieces of content are contained within a page are readily editable by clicking on the auto-generated Edit buttons that accompany each piece of content. The Preview looks just like the front end website, but above each article an Edit button is inserted. Clicking the button launches the content properties interface where edits or deletions may be made.
   
• Upon submitting content you are returned to the preview mode where the content is immediately displayed for review.
